1.The Federal Government
The United States of America is a Federal Republic function on three levels:
- the Federal Government;
- the State Government;
- the Local Government.
The Federal Government is based in Washington and is the national government. It deals with issues that affect thte country as a whole. The American Constitution divides the power of the Federal Government into three branches:
- executive;
- legislative;
- judiciary.
